Lime Petroleum has established a balanced exploration portfolio in all provinces of the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
Lime Petroleum is a small and fast growing exploration company established in 2012. The Company was pre-qualified in February 2013 and has since then grown a portfolio of exploration licences on the Norwegian Continental shelf. Our offices are located at Skøyen in Oslo.
We have built a strong portfolio of licenses focusing on infrastructure led-exploration, with both high impact prospects and high value prospects. Our goal is to grow our portfolio further through licensing rounds and farm-ins and to participate in 1-3 exploration wells per year. We use state-of-the-art data and technology, and in addition to market seismic attributes, we use an in-house DHI in the frequency domain, named “Rex Virtual Drilling” (RVD).
Lime Petroleum's strategy is to explore for, develop and produce hydrocarbons, primarily focused on oil, on the Norwegian Continental Shelf in close cooperation with our operators and the authorities.
Lime Petroleum's shareholders are Rex International Investments Pte. Ltd. (at 91.7%), a wholly owned subsidiary of Rex International Holding Limited, and Schroder & Co Banque SA (at 8.3%).
Rex is a fast-growing independent Exploration and Production oil company listed in Singapore. The company has concessions in two E&P companies, Lime Petroleum AS in Norway and Masirah Oil Ltd in Oman. The company's key differentiator is its suite of technologies, including Rex Virtual Drilling, Rex Gravity and Rex Seepage, which allows Rex to de-risk its assets, grow its portfolio and form powerful partnerships.
Schroders is a global asset manager with £324.9 billion of assets under management and offices in 28 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East.
